Adetunji Lamidi - Managing Director

Mr. Adetunji (“Tunji”) Jelil Lamidi (MBA) is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of FCMB Microfinance Limited. Prior to this appointment, he was an Assistant Vice President & Group Head of Mass Market Banking for FCMB Limited. Before setting up the Microfinance subsidiary for FCMB Group, Adetunji was responsible for developing the Financial Inclusion Strategy for the Bank which started through Direct Sales Channel activities as the National Head of Sales – a major deposit & Credit acquisition model for the retail business of the Bank and culminated in the setting up of the Mass Market Unit. Prior to FCMB, He was a Regional Service Manager & Head of Franchise for MTN Nigeria.

He had served as a Service Centre Manager at MTN and also as a Regional Sales Manager for Kewalram/Chanrai Nigeria Limited. Tunji also had a brief stint at the defunct Monitor Newspapers Limited in Ibadan as a Senior Advert Executive where he worked mainly in marketing operations. Over the course of his sterling career, he has garnered diverse expertise in General management skills, including Sales Operations, Strategy Development, Budgeting, Project Management, Customer Relation, and Inventory Management. He is a skilled communicator who consistently motivates staff to provide total quality service to Clients and consummate Sales manager & strategic Leader focused on execution and task completeness.

He has a very rich experience /understanding of the Consumer market driven by Innovation with over 20 year’s post-graduation experience in Commercial/trading, Telecoms & Banking Organizations. Tunji attended the University of Ibadan, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Managerial Psychology (MMP) from the University of Ibadan and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Leicester, United Kingdom. In addition to his MBA, he has attended executive/leadership programs at Lagos Business School, Helix Institute & IFC/World Bank trainings on digital Finance Services.

Tunji is a member of Rotary Club of Lagos where he serves as its Executive Secretary and Sigma Club, (Old Sigmites Association) which is focused on Socio –Philanthropy and Service to Humanity. He is also a member of the prestigious IKOYI Club. He was a recipient of CEO Silver award for Sales Excellence in 2003 and Y’ELLO STAR AWARD for Customer Service & Living the Values, MTN in 2005. He is happily married with children.

Friday Nwokolo - Head, Business Development

FRIDAY NWOKOLO holds a first degree in English from the Lagos State University and a Masters of
Arts degree in English from the University of Lagos. He has worked as a Teacher, Editor, and
Personal Assistant prior to his sojourn into Microfinance.
He began his Microfinance Career at GROOMING CENTRE, one of the largest Microfinance
Institution in Nigeria today. As the pioneer Branch Manager of the Institution in 2007, he worked
assiduously to ensure targets were met and policies were complied with. He was later drafted to
head the Administration/HR department, a position he held for about one year. There was a brief
merger with ASA Bangladesh-a leading Microfinance Bank in the world. The new Management
identified his potential for field operation and thus elevated him to the position of Area Manager,
field operations.
In 2008, he was transferred to Oyo State to pilot the first strategic expansion plan. He successfully
opened over 40 branches within a space of two years. He was then drafted to Ogun state and
promoted to the position of Divisional Manager. He was later called back to the head office to pilot
and eventually head a new baby- the Training, Research & documentation department.
In 2011, he attended the famous BOULDER INSTITUTE OF MICROFINANCE TRAINING in TURIN, Italy.
There his knowledge of Microfinance was further enhanced. He has attended several other trainings.
He was also the pioneer Project Manager of the Clean Energy Project which GROOMING CENTRE
handled in partnership with OANDO & ALITHEA.
MANAGER, he piloted the group loans product development and eventually managed the portfolio
for a period of one year. The team disbursed over N40 Million during this period and maintained a
healthy portfolio.
He then joined FIRST CITY MONUMENT BANK as GROUP LENDING MANAGER. His mandate was to
lead the team that would develop and eventually pilot the Microfinance product. This was done
successfully and over N1 Billion was disbursed during the pilot phase. The Bank decided to apply for
a Microfinance license. He was thus seconded to the Microfinance Bank as a Management staff.

Ukpebo Samuel - Head of IT

Samuel Ukpebor holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Benin in Nigeria and an MSc in Professional Software Development from the University of Ulster in the UK. He has over 13 years’ experience in Software Implementation and Support Engineers within the commercial and microfinance banking industry. He began his career in 2003 at LAPO Micro Finance Bank, where he worked in the areas of Software implementation Engineer and Support.

He was responsible for the automation of LAPO Core Banking Application – M2 / Focus, automating over 200 branches from a manual process to an automated process. He was also involve in the implementation of a centralized reporting system for the Bank, this resulted in a 70+ percent time savings for the Bank in terms of operational processing and management reporting.

The Core Banking Application implementation process was replicated in 7 branches in Sierra Leone for the Bank. He worked as a technical consultant for Fern Software both in the UK and Nigeria. He work in the area of software development, sales and marketing activities and implementation services for the promotion of Fern Software products and services in Nigeria and Africa. He Joined FCMB MFB as the Head, Information Technology effective 1st April, 2016 and has since implemented technology to help drive the business operation and processes.

Kabir Oseni - Head, Operations

Mr Kabir Oseni is the Head of Operations of FCMB Microfinance Bank Limited. He joined the company in
June 2016 after over 15 years in the Banking Industry that covers experience in Operations, Finance,
Internal Control, Risk Management, Recovery, Reconciliation and Sales. A graduate of B.Sc. Business
Administration from ABU, Zaria and M.Sc. Finance from University of Calabar. He is an associate
member of Certified Institute of Nigerian Economist (CINE) and ISACA - Certification in Risk and
Information System Control (CRISC).

Alex Osasuwa - Head of Audit and Control

Alex Osazuwa holds a Higher National Diploma and Ordinary National Diploma both from Auchi
Polytechnic, Auchi. He also holds MBA (in view) Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH),
Ogbomoso, Oyo State with a bias in Financial Management.
He started his career in Microfinance after his National Youth Service Corps in May 2007 with LAPO MfB
Ltd. He functioned excellently in various capacities within the Operations, Human Resources and Finance
departments of the organization.
Alex Osazuwa is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria and also a
member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) with several years of experience and he
specializes in Financial Auditing, Business Management, Financial Management and Monitoring. He has
managed several monitoring assignments and audits. He is presently the Head, Audit and Control in
Alex Osazuwa has attended various training programs in Credit Operations, Financial Management and
Planning, Portfolio Management, Leadership, Taxation and Corporate Interpersonal Relationship
facilitated by LAPO Academy for Microfinance and Enterprise Development (LAMED), BAA Consults and

Kolawole Oke - Financial Controller

Financial Controller

Kolawole David Oke holds a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Ado Ekiti, and a member of
Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Strategic Management of
Nigeria (ISMN). He is currently pursuing his MBA (Strategy) in Heriot Watt University (Edinburgh
Business School) Scotland and his ICAN certification.
Kolawole is a Finance professional with over 10 years’ experience ranging from Financial Services
(Banking), Insurance, Oil & Gas, Haulage and Hospitality with a strong background in Financial Reporting,
Performance Management, Fund Management, Credit Analysis and Internal Control. A focused and goal
driven individual with an eye for details. A strong team player willing to take the lead and help each
team member maximize their strength to achieve the desired goals.
He started his career with Lorion Group as the Finance and Operations Manager before moving to
Leadway Assurance Limited a foremost Insurance Company in Nigeria where he worked in the
Management Account unit of the Finance department. He was responsible for the preparation of the Oil
and Gas financial position, Reinsurance accounting, fixed asset accounting and Investment assets and
income recognition. He later moved to First City Monument Bank Limited where he worked in the
financial reporting unit and later Performance management unit where he served as the Finance partner
of the Mass Market Banking team. His Job role then included building and reviewing existing financial
models for the various mass market products. Provision of financial forecast and advisory services to the
various business team on maximization of earnings and cost reduction.
He currently serves as the Financial Controller of FCMB Microfinance where he is directly responsible for
managing the Finance and Accounting activities of the bank. This includes generation of Financial
Statement, manage the Planning and Budgeting process, act as coordinator and main contact with
external auditors, cash flow forecast , fund management and ensure the board members are informed
of the financial position of the Bank.
